Timber Framing Certificate

Yestermorrow Design/Build School, Annual

Yestermorrow hosts a four-week certificate class in timber framing each summer. Yestermorrow arranges to design each class frame for a particular client, meaning every year has a different timber frame to cut. Still, the focus is consistent on traditional timber framing with both hand and power tools, plus learning basic drafting skills and some classroom time in adjacent topics like foundations, enclosures, and timber frame design decisions.
